The Guardian: Hélène Darras, an actor, has filed an official complaint against French star Gérard Depardieu, alleging sexual assault during the filming of the 2007 film “Disco.” Darras, who was 26 at the time and had a minor role, claims Depardieu groped her and invited her to his dressing room, which she declined. She feared reporting the incident would harm her career. This complaint follows a 2018 accusation by actor Charlotte Arnould, who accused Depardieu of rape. Details of Darras’s allegations will be broadcast on a French investigative news show. The case might be affected by France’s statute of limitations. Depardieu has denied all charges, including other allegations reported by investigative news outlets. He has publicly defended himself, stating he has never abused a woman, and has stepped back from new projects due to these allegations.
