Fox News: The son of Hamas co-founder Mosab Hassan Yousef says Hamas is even more dangerous than ISIS. He says the mainstream media is afraid to call the group a genocidal religious movement for fear of sparking a full-scale religious war.

Yousef, who renounced involvement with the terrorist group and has been an informant for Israel’s internal security service since the 1990s, emphasized that Hamas cannot be negotiated with because it is neither a national nor a political movement.

“They are driven by dark hatred toward a race, toward a nation,” Yousef believes. He argues that Hamas doesn’t care about the Palestinians. “They have many tunnels. They used the funds and the aid that came to Gaza, they used it to dig tunnels,” the interlocutor said. The son of the movement’s founder emphasized, “It’s very hard to deal with this style of suicidal group of fighters who basically don’t appreciate life. They actually [are] looking forward to death.”

He believes that destroying Hamas is possible, but to do so must begin by destroying its infrastructure, gathering intelligence, and imposing a suffocating blockade. Israel’s security agency, known as the Shin Bet, has created a new unit known as NILI, which in Hebrew means “The Eternity of Israel Will Not Lie.” The new unit, which will operate separately from other command-and-control units dedicated to destroying Hamas hit cells and high-ranking officials, is tasked with finding and eliminating every person involved in the atrocities. Special attention will be paid to members of Hamas’ special Nukhba unit, which Israel believes carried out the attacks.
