The Times: French police in Paris fired tear gas and water cannons at pro-Palestine protesters. The demonstration had earlier been banned by the country’s Interior Ministry. Demonstrators chanted “Israel is a murderer” and “Macron is an accomplice” as they moved through the streets. In their hands were banners reading “End the blockade of Gaza.” The organizers of the action are the Palestinian association CAPJPO-Europalestine. British authorities predict that the pro-Palestinian rally in the center of London on Saturday may gather 10 thousand people. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak held a meeting with police chiefs and asked them to crack down on any violation of the law among the protesters. He emphasized that the police have the full support of the government in ensuring that any glorification of terrorism is prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Hamas is a banned organization, so anyone expressing support for it can be arrested.
